It was a cold sunny day as I made my way along with my family through the scenic Yellowstone National Park comprising of lakes, canyons, rivers and mountain ranges. It was a treat to the eyes as we watched the natural colorful rocks that are formed due to the lava flowing out of volcanic eruptions. But a bigger treat to the eyes was awaiting as the night fell and we walked out of our wooden lodge. The night was clear and crisp, and the sky was full of millions of stars. We witnessed a dazzling display of constellations and the Milky way! It was one of the best sights we had ever seen in our lives. We could sit through the entire night and observe this stunning view with a feeling of the stars falling on us. My mini galaxy painting is inspired from the starry sky we witnessed at Yellowstone.
